Phoebe Bower has experience in all areas of intellectual property procurement, counseling, enforcement and licensing. She focuses her practice on patent matters, including drafting and prosecuting utility patent applications, preparing advisory and clearance opinions, managing patent portfolios and drafting and negotiating IP-related agreements. She has worked in the computer, electrical and mechanical areas involving a wide range of technologies such as mobile communications, computer networking, business methods, medical devices, automotive, athletic equipment, beverage dispensing equipment and consumer products.
In addition to her prosecution and counseling experience, Phoebe has been active in all aspects of litigation and at trial, including pre-filing inquiries, fact investigation, written discovery and depositions, claim construction, preparing and managing pre-trial strategy, dispositive motions, trial, hearings and appeals.
Prior to joining Price Heneveld, Phoebe practiced in the Chicago office of a national intellectual property firm as well as for a small patent boutique serving nationwide clients. Before practicing law, Phoebe was a Network Engineer for Sprint Corporation where she designed wide area network infrastructures and consulted on data networking technologies.
