Donna Raaymakers, PP-SC
Donna Raaymakers joined Price Heneveld as an Intellectual Property Specialist in 2017. Donna is a Certified Paralegal and brought 27 years of intellectual property experience to the firm. She is proficient in all areas of patent and trademark prosecution, regulation and maintenance; reviewing office actions; drafting responses; preparing formal documents; and filing applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and worldwide. She has extensive knowledge of domestic and international filing requirements, including PCT and EPO practice; researching emerging patent rules, regulations and procedures; summarizing issues for attorneys; performing assignment searches related to due diligence; organizing prior art for disclosure; legalization of formal documents; meeting formalities requirements set by foreign and U.S. jurisdictions; payment of maintenance and annuity fees; trademark renewals; filings in accordance with the Madrid Protocol; licensing agreements; cease and desist infringement communication; portfolio management; use of a variety of docketing software and procedures; and U.S. copyright procurement. Donna’s experience includes the chemical, computer, electrical, electronic, medical, and mechanical areas of technology.
Donna studied at Grand Rapids Community College and is a member and volunteer of the National Association of Legal Professionals. She holds a Professional Paralegal Certification and an advanced Intellectual Property Law Specialty Certificate. She also received an Accredited Legal Professional Certification. Donna has earned a Continuing Legal Education Award and maintains her skills by attending events sponsored by the USPTO, WIPO and NALS. She is a Notary Public for the State of Michigan.
