Jeffrey D. Simon
Jeff Simon joined Price Heneveld as a Law Clerk after earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2017. His interests and experience center on the chemical and biological sciences, as well as patent and regulatory affairs relating to the medical technologies industry. As a summer associate in 2016 at an IP law firm in Minneapolis, Jeff prepared and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of healthcare and the industrial sciences. Jeff also interned with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Lansing, Michigan, where he prepared bench memoranda and reviewed Court of Appeals decisions and publications for the Honorable Richard F. Suhrheinrich.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Albion College. During his undergraduate career, he performed research for the Albion College Chemistry Department in connection with the treatment of ionic liquids with permanganate derivatives. As a law student at the University of Minnesota, he served as Editor for the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology. Jeff sat for the Michigan Bar in July of 2017 and plans to take the Patent Bar in December of 2017.
