Xiaolei B. Zhang
Xiaolei Zhang is an associate of the firm and his practice focuses on the procurement and enforcement of intellectual property rights, particularly in automotive and consumer electronics. Xiaolei has successfully handled numerous cases involving electrical and mechanical-based technologies and currently represents a diverse clientele ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Before joining the firm, Xiaolei was an associate at a boutique intellectual property firm in Boston, Massachusetts, and wrote patents pro bono while attending law school.
Having pursued a variety of educational undertakings, Xiaolei benefits from exposure to various industries. Notably, at Michigan Tech he captained his senior design team charged with building a solar powered umbrella for 3M Company. Xiaolei also held internships at Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation helping design and implement procedures for bolstering polysilicon production, and Massachusetts General Hospital, synthesizing custom polypeptides used in scientific and medical applications. Through these unique life experiences, Xiaolei has cultivated an utmost appreciation for innovation and the ever evolving needs of his clients, past, present, and future alike.
