Rebecca A. Becker

Rebecca Becker is a Registered Patent Agent with experience in intellectual property law. Ms. Becker’s focus is on conducting patentability, right-to-use, state-of-the-art, and infringement searches; writing patentability opinions, and assisting attorneys with infringement opinions; drafting provisional, utility, design patent applications, and responsive amendments to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Actions; as well as, supporting foreign patent filing and prosecution.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Becker worked for four years at a local firm gaining valuable experience. She also has eight years of experience in the automotive industry working for a local manufacturer as a senior engineer. Ms. Becker has excellent analytical and communications skills, extensive engineering background, and experience in various intellectual property matters to assist clients with their intellectual property needs.

Ms. Becker is registered to practice in front of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She earned a Master of Business Administration in 2003 from Grand Valley State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, graduating cum laude, in 1998.
