Price Heneveld welcomes its newest associates and patent agents
Price Heneveld LLP congratulates and welcomes to the firm its newest associate attorneys, Caitlyn Silverblatt and Cassandra Green, and patent agents, Alannah Hebard and Jessica Hessler. Price Heneveld also welcomes Megan Monahan, who joined the firm as a law clerk, pending admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
Caitlyn Silverblatt joined Price Heneveld in 2018 and became an official member of the State Bar of Michigan in a swearing-in ceremony held by the Grand Rapids Bar Association on November 13, 2018. Caitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Political Science from Northeastern University and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Michigan State University College of Law. As a law student at Michigan State, she served as captain of the Patent Drafting Competition Moot Court Team for two years and served as a Senior Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review.
Cassandra Green is a Grand Rapids native and became a member of the State Bar of Michigan on November 13, 2018. Cassandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Pre-Medicine and a Certificate in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, and completed her J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law. She has also been registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office since 2016 and is a member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA).
Alannah Hebard joined Price Heneveld as a patent engineer with experience in the mechanical, chemical, and electrical industries, including work with home appliance, aeronautical, medical device, automotive, and packaging technologies. Alannah earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Western Michigan University and recently expanded her career as a patent practitioner by becoming a USPTO registered patent agent in 2019. She is a member of the Grand Rapids IP Women’s Forum (GRIP).
Jessica Hessler, Ph.D., is a registered patent agent with over ten years of experience in the intellectual property field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Grand Valley State University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan. Jessica is the Vice President of Community Impact for the Junior League of Grand Rapids and is a member of the Planning Committee of Grand Rapids IP Women’s Forum (GRIP).
Megan Monahan is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where she served as a Space System Operator. She recently received her J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she was Vice President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. She earned her Bachelor and Associate of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Electronic Technology, respectively, from Colorado Technical University. Megan joined Price Heneveld in January and sat for the State Bar of Michigan exam in February 2019.
