Ginta McNally is a registered patent attorney with a wide range of intellectual property experience. Her current focus is patent prosecution and opinion work in the mechanical arts. She enjoys helping clients utilize their intellectual property assets to achieve business goals.
Ginta has represented Fortune 100 Companies, large privately held companies, small businesses, and individuals. She has extensive experience in patent, trademark, trade dress, and unfair competition litigation in automotive, consumer product, apparel, toy, sports equipment, plastics, Internet domain name, and other areas. She is also experienced in trademark prosecution, intellectual property licensing, and business tort litigation.
During her engineering studies, Ginta spent summers working at automotive companies as an engineering intern. In law school, she worked at firms that specialize in insurance defense law and intellectual property law.
Ginta has served on the Executive Council of the Young Lawyers’ Section of the State Bar of Michigan. She has been a member of the American Inns of Court (United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan), a legal organization dedicated to inspiring the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education, and mentoring.
Ginta is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association, and Inforum. She speaks Latvian fluently and is involved in the West Michigan Latvian community.
