Matt Gipson is a partner of the firm. His practice focus is in the procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents for chemical, bio-tech and mechanical inventions; patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright litigation; and registration and TTAB proceedings concerning trademarks.

Mr. Gipson has worked on many patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret misappropriation suits. This includes cases in many district courts, as well as the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the International Trade Commission. He has also handled many post-grant patent proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including inter partes review, ex parte reexam, etc. Mr. Gipson is also a Certified Mediator and is listed on the Western District of Michigan list of Court Certified Voluntary Mediators.
